We in Living Well have been praying about doing a 2nd outreach to the 12th orange parade. Last year we worked out of the Passionate Cafe on Dublin Rd but as you may have seen this is no more.
We are proposing:
first of all a 24/7 prayer event based in May St church finishing on the 12th, then
erecting a 'Jesus is Lord and his banner over me is love' banner over the street,
praise and worship before and after the bands pass,
outreach on the street to the spectators,
serving the onlookers with free freshly BBQ'ed hotdogs (we went through about 1000 last year

We are well aware that a lot of people leave the city this week and especially on this day and that Summer Madness just finishes the week before.

for a prayer slot (we are aiming at a 24/7 from noon on the 5th to noon on the 12th)
to bring your loader/ JCB to help erect the banner
to help set up a stage, prayer tent etc at the venue
to bring your Industrial strength BBQ
to help in BBQing
to help pray on the day
to help the outreach team
to help supply charcoal, sausages, baps, ketchup, napkins etc
Please pray for a venue for the outreach we haven't got one yet! The possibilities are
a) the green area beside the cinema on Dublin Rd, or
b) from a church along the route
